Emerging Technologies Research Centre Fund
Emerging Technologies Research Centre (EMTERC)’s research activities are broadly in the development of micro/nano sized materials for electronics and energy related devices (such as for next generation, semiconductor electronic device, photovoltaic solar cells and batteries).
These range from fundamental research (fabricating novel materials, understanding basic physical mechanisms), to investigating device applications in energy and healthcare.
The centre provides training to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students in the forefront areas of semiconductor material manufacturing and testing over the last a few decades.
The focus of our current research is on addressing some of society's most significant issues, with particular emphasis on creating environmentally friendly semiconductor manufacturing technologies, essential for our sustainable future.
